STATE THEATRE
DOUBLE programme. Tonight there will be shown another excellent mid-week programme, well up to the high standard aimed at by the management of the State Theatre. ‘'Convicted Woman” is a stirring drama which provides plenty of opportunity for high grade acting. There is not a dull moment in the picture, and patrons should appreciate the various situations which go to provide a film which should not be missed. The princiual characters are portrayed by Rochelle Hudson, June Lang and Lola Jane. “Man With Nine Lives” presents excellent fare which should hold the attention of those present throughout its screening. The chief roles are taken by Roger Pryor and Jo Ann Sayers.
