WAIRARAPA SHOW
JUDGING DAV TOMORROW GOOD DISPLAY OF STOCK ASSURED. LARGE NUMBER OF ENTRIES. After a break of a year on account of war conditions, the Wairarapa and East Coast P. and A. Society will hold its sixty-sixth Spring show tomorrow and on Thursday. Splendid entries have been received, and the total of 2657 compares very favourably with the average number of entries over the past nine years. It is anticipated that the cream of the district’s high quality stock will be on show, in addition to stock from other parts of the Dominion. There is a good prize list, for which competition should be keen. Given fine weather the societyshould enjoy a Show as successful < its forerunners. Tomorrow the stock will be judged/ and on Thursday, which will be observed as People’s Day, the grand parade of stock and an interesting programme of ring events will be presented. Tomorrow night a Night Show will be held, when features will be a treasure hunt for children under 14 years of age and Highland dancing.
