4 Private Harry Golder, of the New Zealand reinforcements, was recent!} the guest at a gathering held in Ins honour by Mr W. J. Palamontain anhis staff and presented with a writing set. Miss Jean McKenzie, of East Taratahi has returned to Masterton after five’years on the staff of the New Plymouth Hosoital, accompanied by Miss Jean Ritchie, of New Plymouth. Both will continue their training in the Masterton Hospital. Miss Frances ...Louise Stevenson, aged 55, whom Mr David Lloyd George, aged 80, Prime Minister of England during the last great war, is reported to have married, is a daughter of John and Louise Stevenson, of Worthing, England. She is a Bachelor of Arts, with honours in classics of London University. She became private secretary to Mr Lloyd George in' 1913. Her book, “Makers of the New World," was published in 1922.
