REGENT THEATRE
DOUBLE FEATURE PROGRAMME. “Hi Ya, Chum” and “The Wagons Roll at Night,” will be finally shown tonight. “STAND BY FOR ACTION.” The Labour weekend attraction at the Regent Theatre is that outstanding feature “Stand By For Action,” a picture true in every sense of the word. Starring Robert Taylor. Charles Laughton and Brian Donlevy, it is a drama unmatched at the Regent Theatre since “Mutiny on the Bounty.” For its humour, its heroism and its tears this picture will appeal. A grand salute to the Navy. There will bo a special matinee on Monday at 2 p.m. A special screening will be made on Sunday at 8.15 p.m. for members of the Allied forces, each of whom may bring two friends.
