PERSISTENT ATTACKS
ON GERMAN COMMUNICATIONS IN YUGOSLAVIA. LITTLE CHANGE IN GENERAL SITUATION. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.7 a.m.) RUGBY, October 21. In Yugoslavia there seems to have been little change in the general situation, according to a communique from the headquarters of the Yugoslavia People’s Army of liberation. Partisans continue to attack enemy communications with good results. In the town and railway junction of Pakraz, on the Zagreb-Belgrade railway, partisans have captured 250 petrol wagons, one tank and three motor-cars. In Montenegro, Herzegovina and in the Sankjok, offensive operations continue. Near Cetinje an attack by German and Chetnik troops was repulsed by units of the Fifth Brigade, with heavy losses to the enemy. In Dalmatia offensive operations are being conducted in the area of Ston. The enemy continues to attack strongly at Sinj Trogir. Between Sinj and Imotski an enemy column was attacked and heavy losses were inflicted.
