LIGHT NAVAL CRAFT
NORWEGIAN & BRITISH. SUCCESSES NORTH OF BERGEN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.7 a.m.) RUGBY. October 21. The Admiralty states that Norwegian light coastal forces, operating in Norwegian wafers on Tuesday night torpedoed and sank a small merchant ship and damaged a patrol craft by gunfire in a position some 70 miles north of Bergen. British light coastal forces, operating in the same area last Saturday, shot down a Focke-Wulf 190. All the Norwegian and British craft have returned safely, but there were some casualties.
