Juno has returned home from a visit to relatives in Wellington. Miss Sue Piper has returned from a visit to Paekakariki. L.A.C. Walter Juno has returned to camp after having spent leave at home. W.W.S.A. Shop Day. The Featherston W.W.S.A. will hold a shop day in the Town Hall on Friday afternoon, when there will be stalls for produce, cakes and flowers, as well as a jumble stall. Afternoon tea will be supplied. COSY THEATRE DOUBLE FEATURE BILL. Tomorrow night there will be presented a double feature bill. “On the Sunny Side,” is an excellent picture featuring Roddy McDowall and Jane Darwell, while “The Ghost of Frankenstein,” is a thrilling drama in which the chief roles are taken by Lon Chaney, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, and Evelyn Ankers.
