STRUCK AT JAPANESE IN BURMA. RAILWAY & OTHER TARGETS ATTACKED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) RUGBY, October 20. A New Delhi communique says: “Beaufighters yesterday continued their attacks on locomotives and rolling stock in Burma, destroying engines and wagons. Other planes dive-bomb-ed Japanese Army buildings on the Kaladan and Chindwin rivers. Wellingtons last night bombed the airfield at Magwe, starting large fires, and also the town of Akyab, where bursts were seen in the northern part of the target area. All the R.A.F. planes returned.’’
