OLD POST OFFICE DISMANTLING OF BUILDING. (“Times-Age” Special.) It is understood that a tender has been let for the dismantling of the Carterton Post Office, which was damaged in last year’s earthquake, and that the work will commence very soon. Personal Items. The residents of Belvedere and Carrington will tender a ‘-parcel evening” on Saturday to Miss Cynthia Bond m view of her approaching marriage. A presentation will also be made to Private L. Manahan. Lieutenant A. E. Ansell will be the guest of honour at a farewell gathering in the Masonic Hall on Friday night. Mr Frank Jensen, who has been an inmate of the Masterton Hospital, has returned to his home.
