WEEKEND PLAY AN ENJOYABLE MATCH. MASTERTON v. MAHUNGA. During the weekend a very enjoyable match was played on the Lansdowne links between teams representing Mahunga and Masterton. The following are the results, Mahunga players being mentioned first in each instance: — Fourball: Hendry and McPherson lost to Baker and Esau; Friend and Jenkins lost to Lucas and Faulknor; Beecroft and Jones lost to Candy and Brown; Connolly and Ryan beat McKenzie and Herbert; Hawksworth and O’Connor beat Playsted and F. Shearer; Sutherland and Brand lost to Bodie and Long; Lusty and Taylor beat Futter and Brickman; Welply and Earp beat Joy and H. J. Nitz; Heasley and Blennerhassett all square with Welch and McCalmont; Macdonald and Price lost to Jones and Biss.
