POLITICAL CRISIS
REPORTED IN ARGENTINE OVER RESIGNATION OF CABINET MEMBERS. ARMED TROOPS ON MOVE. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) WASHINGTON, October 15. The “New York Times” correspondent in Monte Video says a profound political crisis has followed the resignation of three members of the Argentine Cabinet. Troops in considerable numbers and in full war kit are on the move near Buenos Aires for use in any contingency. The President is reported to be having difficulty in replacing the three Ministers. An earlier message from Mr Tank states that it had been officially announced in Buenos Aires that three members of General Ramirez’s Cabinet had resigned, but that the resignations did not affoct the policy of the Government. SHARP REBUKE SUSPENSION OF JEWISH PAPERS. « PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT’S REMINDER. (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) WASHINGTON, October 15. President Roosevelt, at his Press conference, sharply rebuked the Argentine suspension of Jewish newspapers, saying this action was characterised by the most repugnant features of Nazi doctrines.
