AUTUMN SHOW
DISCUSSION AT CARTERTON.
MATTER HELD OVER.
At a meeting of the committee of the Wairarapa Pastoral and Agricultural Society at Carterton today, Mr J. A. McLeod presided. The question of holding an autumn show was discussed at some length. The chairman moved a motion to the effect that in view of the fact that the Masterton A. and P. Association was unable to hold a show in the autumn owing to the showgrounds being otherwise occupied the Wairarapa P. and A. Society for this year only hold an autumn show at Carterton in order to keep faith with Wairarapa breeders. Mr Reynolds moved an amendment that the matter of an autumn show be held over until the Wairarapa spring show had been held. The fact was emphasised by several speakers that it was only intended to hold an autumn show if the Masterton A. and P. Association was unable to hold one. The amendment was eventually carried, and it was decided to form a small committee to wait upon the Mas-tc-rton A. and P. Association and discuss the matter.
