OBITUARY
DR R. A. SHORE ■ (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The death has occurred of Dr Robert Alexander Shore, Deputy Director General of Health. He was born at Kaitangata in 1884 and educated at the Otago Boys' High School and the Medical School. In 1924 he became Medical Officer of Health in Dunedin and later held a similar post in Wellington. In 1930 he became Director of the Divi-sion-of Hospitals until 1940, when he was appointed Deputy Director General of Health. He leaves a widow and a grown up family of four.
