AWARDED D.F.C.
WARRANT OFFICER KENNEDY. OLD BOY OF SEDGLEY HOME. Word has been received that Warrant Officer Gordon L. Kennedy, an old boy of Sedgley Boys’ Home, Masterton, has been awarded the D.F.C. During his stay at Sedgley he attended the Masterton Technical College. About twelve months ago Warrant Officer Kennedy crashed, and was severely injured, but made a wonderful recovery to enable him to return to duty and gain this coveted flying distinction.
