4 FASHIONED FROM LABORATORIES FLOOD OF DISCOVERIES (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11 a.m.) WASHINGTON, October 14. “A new world is being fashioned in our laboratories and when the secrecy veil imposed by the war is lifted, our people will be amazed at the array of inventions,” said the vice-president, MrWallace. He added that from laboratories, both Government and private, a flood of discoveries are coming. Helicopters, television, radio, light metals, plastics, new foods and medicines will open vast industrial frontiers.
