SALE AT ADDINGTON FAT CATTLE AND SHEEP PRICES EASIER (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 13. At the AddingtSn market heavier entries caused an easing in both the fat cattle and fat sheep sections. Ewes and lambs were in strong demand. In fat sheep there was a drop of from 2s 6d to 4s a head on best quality sheep and sligntly more on the remainder. The highest price for owes was 56s 7d, and for wethers 51s Id. The fat cattle market opened at a sharp drop on last week’s figures of up to 50s a head, but there was a steadying later and the average decline over the whole sale was from 40s to 45s a head.
