IN THE EDEN ELECTORATE (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, October 13. The National Party candidate for Eden, Lieutenant-Colonel W. H. Fortune, has asked for a magisterial recount of the votes for Eden as a result of the declaration of the poll which shows the majority of the Labour Party candidate (Mr W. T. Anderton) to be ten. The declaration was subject to further Service votes. The recount will apply only to civilian votes.
