TREATMENT OF PRISONERS
BRITISH & AMERICAN STANDARDS GOOD. GERMANY TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 12. The Insnector-General for German war prisoners has. announced that reports of British and American treatment of war prisoners are so good that Germany has felt compelled to improve the conditions of British and American prisoners in Germany. British and American prisoners will in future do lighter work, and officers will be granted leave, on parole, more generously.
