The question of shipowners taking part in post-war civil aviation was further discussed at a meeting of the General Council of British Shipping Production. A report was made on replies indicating the existence of immediate and substantial interest on the part of shipowners, and the council made arrangements for those who desired immediately to take part in air transport to work out their proposals through the appropriate organisations in each category.
