WOMEN’S MEETING IN MASTERTON REPORTS ON MONTHLY ACTIVITIES. The monthly meeting of the Women’s National Welfare League was held m Masterton yesterday afternoon. Those present were: Miss Kummer (in the chair), Mesdames E J. Brown, R. C. Drummond, L. Huntei, A. W. McKenzie, S. Fletcher, S. L. P. Free' and S. J. Munn . Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames T. Jordan H . Either. McCracken. R. Whyborn. S. N. vigour and Miss Guild. 4 . T . A letter was received from the a.m. a. Club (Wellington) thanking members tor a hamper. . .. Mrs. Drummond reported on visits paia to the Masterton Hospital. The usual tea was provided at No. 6 Ward and reading matter supplied to other wards. Mrs. Pithcr reported that members of the Elind Institute were busily engaged m war Mrs. A. W. McKenzie reported that there had been no new cases in connection with the social welfare work.
