SUNK BY AIRCRAFT
IN THE BLACK SEA GERMAN TRANSPORT & OTHER CRAFT SOVIET OFFICIAL REPORT (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) RUGBY, October 6. Aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet sank an enemy transport of 2,000 tons, two torpedo-carrying cutters and four barges, loaded with German troops, on Tuesday, states a supplementary Soviet communique.
