CROSS=COUNTRY RUN

MASTERTON PRIMARY SCHOOLS. FOR KIATERE HARRIER CLUB CHALLENGE SHIELD. Fifteen teams of five each from six Masterton primary schools will compete on Saturday in a cross-country run for the Kiatcre Harrier Club challenge shield. The contest is the first to be held for this trophy, whiijli has been presented for competition by ’the club. The run, which will be over two miles, will start from the Park Oval at 2.30 p.m. The schools taking part are: St. Patrick’s, Central, Lansdowne, West, Whatman and Hadlow. The first three members of a team to finish will count in points for the shield, and in addition,; there will be trophies for the first, second and third individual placings. The trophies will be presented at the conclusion of the run. All parents and supporters are invited to be present.
