“SUPERSTITIONS DANCE”

AMERICAN RED CROSS CLUB LARGE & HAPPY GATHERING There was a large and happy gathering at the American Red Cross Service Club, Masterton, last night when a “Superstitions” dance was held. Those present entered wholeheartedly into the spirit of the proceedings. On entering the club the dancers had to pass under a ladder and around the walls “good luck” charms were printed on posters. Considerable amusement was provided by an umbrella dance in which many tattered and time worn umbrellas were displayed. Enjoyable music was provided by a unit orchestra. For refreshments apple pie, doughnuts and ham bun sandwiches were served. On Saturday night a dance will be held and on Sunday the weekly tea dance will take place.
