BREAK WITH AXIS
DEMANDED BY ARGENTINE STUDENTS. DELAYED REPORT OF RIOTS. (By Telegraph—Frees Association—Copyright) SANTIAGO (Chile), October 3. Delayed dispatches report riots in Buenos Aires on September 28 between students demanding a break with the Axis and young Nationalists, supporters of General Ramirez. Mounted police and tear-gas squads fought the rioters for more than an hour. The Government is since reported to have removed two of several pro-Nazi university heads whose appointments caused a nation-wide students’ strike.
