HARRIER ACTIVITIES
KIATERE CLUB. HANDICAPS FOR SATURDAY. An interesting run will be held tomorrow by the Kiatere Harrier Club. A five mile run will be held for the seniors, who will compete for a trophy presented by Second Lieutenant L. E. Frances. There will also be a 3 1-8 mile, run for the juniors. The trophy for this contest has been presented by Mrs Frances. The runs will commence at 2.30 p.m. from the Park. On the following Saturday, October 9, a race will be held among teams from the various primary schools in Masterton. The following are the handicaps for the senior and junior races to be held by the Kiatere Harrier Club tomorrow:— Juniors (21 miles, the race to start at 2.30 p.m.):—N. Jacobsen, scr.; K. Greaves, lmin. 30secs.; A. Pickett. 2.45: E. Pickett, 3mins. Seniors (5 miles): W. McDonald, scr.; W. Burgess, R. Greeks, lOsecs.; G. Hayes, J. Maunsell,-; 2min. lOsecs.; C. Summers, 3.20; S. Hill. K. Bullock, mins.; D. Slewart, smins.
