MASTERTON DISTRICT QUOTA PATRIOTIC APPEAL STATEMENT OF COLLECTIONS IN WAIRARAPA The Masterton District Patriotic Appeal closed yesterday £238 15s 6d short of the quota. Following is a statement setting out the collections in the Wairarapa for the 1943 Patriotic Fund Appeal:—Masterton district. £9263 10s sd; Pahiatua district, £3615 Is 3d; Eketahuna district, £2261 7s 8d; Carterton district, £4043 9s 4d; Greytown district, £1427 17s Id; Akitio district, £1093 8s Id; Featherston district, £1923 14s 2d: Martinborough district, £1984 10s lid; total, £25,612 18s lid. Plus credits through the National Patriotic Council: Reclama lion of waste materials, £136 3s; Red Cross donations, £192 17s; parcels fund, £92 Is 6d; proportion Civil Service and other collections, £594 10s; £26,628 10s sd; less adjustment at April 1, 1942, £164 5s lid; total collections. £26,464 4s 6d; zone quota, £26,703; shortage of quota. £238 15s 6d.
