ROSSWOOD STUD
VISIT OF INSPECTION. A “Times-Age" reporter spent a most interesting time when he paid a visit of inspection to the Rosswood stud of Mr T. R. George in Kibblewhite Road. The stud farm is a model one and with the quality of the stallions there one of the best studs in the Dominion is being built up. The paddocks are well fenced and the outbuildings are a model of cleanliness, making for efficiency. The liberal use of paint has brightened up the cornals, etc. The stallions. Beau Vite and Beailivre, are fully booked and twenty mares have been booked to Croupier. So far this season, two foals have been born, a bay filly by Chatsworth from Balgowla (a Bulandshar mare) and a foal by Croupier from Latin Lady. A fine lot of yearlings were noticed. They included a foal by Double Runner from Peerless, and youngsters by Defoe—Haughty Toti, Croupier—Water Low. Defoe—Night Step and Croupier—Bronze Arrow.
