SEA RESCUE
OF NEW ZEALAND AIRCRAFT CREW AFTER NIGHT SPENT IN DINGHY PLANE FORCED DOWN OFF COAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The crew of a R.N.Z.A.F. aircraft were rescued off the coast of New Zealand this morning, after having spent the night in a dinghy, following on a forced landing late yesterday afternoon. Aerial and sea searches were immediately instituted, following on advice that the aircraft had made a forced landing and contact was soon made with the personnel involved. They were: Flight Sergeant John Lindsay Allen (wife, Mrs E. M. Allen, Auckland). Temporary Sergeant Douglas George Kilgour (wife, Mrs M. H. Kilgour, Auckland). Flight-Sergeant Philip James Field (wife, Mrs A. D. E. Field, Nelson). Flight Sergeant Malcolm Jack Fry (mother, Mrs A. F. Fry, Auckland).
