WOMAN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Ethel Eleanor Ray, a domestic servant, aged 38, pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence for obtaining money by false pretences from Mrs M. M. Patullo, Christchurch. Mrs Patullo said she sent sums totalling £425 to Ray, who, purporting to be a friend, asked for the money to purchase a section.
