STATE THEATRE
“TEN GENTLEMEN FROM WEST POINT.” Claimed to be a worthy successor to the exceedingly popular “To the Shores of Tripoli,” the film to be shown tonight at the State Theatre, “Ten Gentlemen from West Point,” ranks high in entertainment value. As the title indicates it is a story about the most famous military academy in the United States and it deals particularlj7 with the founding and early days of that institution, which has produced so many world famous United States army officers. George Montgomery. John Sutton, and beautiful Maureen O’Hara play the leading parts in this colourful story of adventure and romance, and they are given excellent support by the minor characters, chief of whom are Laird Cregar and John Shepperd. The supporting films are excellent.
