A detection party at the 8th Army Mine Clearance School setting out along a tape marked path through a minefield. The men work in pairs, placing markers over the detected ines. A safe distance behind come the mine lifters, who render the mines safe. Finally the lane markers place red and white signs along the path, red towards the minefield and white towards the safety area.
