POSITION IN AIASTERTON UNCHANGED ANTI-RESTORATION MAJORITY INCREASED DETAILS OF THE VOTING Ju the no-licence poll in Masterton on Saturday a simple majority of 142 votes was cast against restoration. A three-fifths majority would have been needed to carry restoration and the vote Jell short of that figure by 939. The restoration vote in 193 S fell short by about 600 of the required majority.
