CHURCH SERVICES
The Holy Communion will be celebrated in St. Matthew's Church tomorrow at 8 a.m., at Upper Plain at 9 a.m. and Kuripuni at 10 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will preach at St. Matthew’s Church at 11 a.m. At 7 p.m. the Right Reverend the Bishop of Wellington, will conduct the annual Confirmation service. At the services at the Baptist Church tomorrow the subject in the morning will be “God’s Garden,” and in the evening “What Government” (election reflections). The usual “friendly hour” will follow the evening service to which service men .and visitors to the town are invited. Salvation Army services tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Stone. The Rev J. M. Simpson will preach in Knox Church tomorrow at 11 a.m., it being Dominion Young People’s Day. An important congregational meeting will follow this service. The evening service will commence at 7 o’clock. The services at the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow will be . conducted by the Rev G. H. Goodman. Mr H. Bateup will preach at the Kuripuni Methodist Church in the evening.
