OBITUARY MRS M. A. GRIMMER. An' old and highly respected resident of Carterton in the person of Mrs Magdalene Annie Grimmer, widow of Mr George H. Grimmer, died at the Greytown Hospital yesterday afternoon. She was born at Geraldine 72 years ago and after her marriage lived at Makuri for a short period. She later resided at Martinborough and then at Carterton. She leaves two sons (Messrs Geo. R. Grimmer, Palmerston North and Robert Jas. Grimmer, Carterton), and one daughter (Mrs N. J. Skinner, One Tree Hill, Auckland). She is also survived by eight grandchildren. The funeral will take place on Monday, leaving her son’s residence, North High Street, after a short service, commencing at 1 p.m. for the Clareville cemetery. Borough Council. | The monthly meeting of the Carteri ton Borough Council will be held on Tuesday at 8 o'clock.
