A Free German Committee, similar to that in Moscow, will be formed in London tomorrow/ The Moscow com-] mittee recently appealed to all free Germans in Britain “to mobilise to help in the defeat of Nazism.” Prominent supporters of the proposed German committee in Britain include Dr. Karl Rawitz, former legal adviser to German trade unions, Professor Artur Leibert, of Berlin University, Dr. August Weber, chairman of the Liberal German State Party, Professor Isaac Meusel and Frau Adele Scriber, former member of the Reichstag, and also three former Communist members of the Reichstag. Berlin reports the execution of a 50-year-old German who tried to make defeatist speeches in a public park.
