’ MASTERTON SALE. FAT SHEEP PRICES FIRM. The Wairarapa Stock and Station Agents’ Association report on their Masterton sale yesterday as follows:— There was a very small yarding of fat and store sheep which was offered to a poor attendance. The prices of fat sheep were firm and quite an attractive line of w.w. hoggets made 265. The following are the principal’ prices:— Fats: Fat wethers, 39s lOd; prime ewes, 325; fat ewes, 28s 3d, 27s 3d, 255; lighter and unfinished, 22s 6d to 21s 9d. Store sheep: W.W. hoggets, 265, 23s lOd; forward ewes, 18s 6d; forward b.f. hoggets, 20s; ewes and lambs, all counted, 8s 9d.
