OBITUARY
f MRS G. J. JACKSON. The death occurred at the Masterton Hospital this morning of Mrs Ane Christina Jackson, widow of the late Mr George John Jackson, of 16 South Road, Masterton. The late Mrs Jackson, who was born in Denmark 81 years ago, came to New Zealand with her parents when she was ten years of age. She resided for many years at Mauriceville and later hi Masterton. Her husband predeceased her a year ago and she is survived by two daughters, Mesdames O. Symes (Petone) and L. W. Walsh (Hamilton). The funeral will take place on Wednesday, leaving the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service, Ltd., following a service at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery. MRS H. CARNELL. The death occurred at the Masterton Hospital on Saturday of Mrs Margaret Ann Carnell, widow of the late Mr Henry Carnell, of Raglan Street, Masterton. The late Mrs Carnell, who was born in Alfredton 72 years ago, was married in Eketahuna and took up her resi--dence in Masterton 35 years ago. Her husband predeceased her 5|- years ago. There are no children. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving’ St. Patrick’s Church, following a service at 2.30 p.m. for tbe Masterton Cemetery.
