Ewan), 1; 2/2, Keen Play, 7.9, 2; 10/11, Royal Son, 7.7, 3. Scratched: Te Awe Awe, Lastic. Won by two lengths; half a length. Time, 1.36 3-5. I' : yesterday. According to a report from Berne, t it is believed that negotiations are proceeding at Palermo concerning an eventual Italian declaration of war against Germany and the recognition of Italy as an Allied Power, It has been persistently reported that King Victor Emmanuel and Marshal Eadoglio are in Palermo.
