On Monday evening all service men who would like to make their own Christmas cards on linoleum block prints will have an opportunity. , Another bingo party will be the event for Tuesday night, with prizes given to the winners. Last week cigars, razor blades, shaving bowls, perfume, powder and soap were the prizes. On Wednesday, Friday and Sunday there will be the regular dances at the Red Cross Club.

On Thursday night all checker lovers will be able to play in a tournament with a prize for the winner. Players should sign up on the bulletin board. On Saturday night a scavenger hunt will be held. Last week the participants had tremendous fun getting a hair from a horse’s tail, a pair of grey stockings, a stateside newspaper, a sergeant’s stripes not sewed on, a minister’s signature and a red pocketbook to mention a few of the 14 items. They had two hours to find the articles. Four New Zealanders trying the American game for fun and for the first time won prizes. There was a merry confusion over the word pocketbook. They brought a notebook. Their stripes and minister’s signature came from a magazine which was exceedingly clever. First, second and third prizes were presented to both girls and men. Girls are urged to come next week to the club for the activities planned.
