LEAGUE OF MOTHERS MONTHLY MEETING OF MEMBERS (“Times-Age” Special.) Mrs Arch Clark presided at the monthly meeting of the League of Mothers held in the Parish Hall yesterday afternoon. There was a good attendance in spite of the weather conditions. A new member from the Masterton branch was welcomed. Miss Tamplin, the local district nurse, gave a very interesting health talk, which she illustrated with posters. The hostesses were Mesdames Tutbury, Roberts and Simmonds. Personal. Mrs Spink has returned to Auckland after having visited her sister, Mrs McKenna. COSY THEATRE TWO BIG FEATURES. There will be two big features at the Cosy Theatre tonight. “Down Mexico Way” is a spectacular musical comedy, starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette and Fay McKenzie. “The Devil Pays Off” is a thrilling drama featuring Edward Bromberg and Osa Massen.
