WHITE BUTTERFLY REAPPEARANCE IN DISTRICT. (“Times-Age” Special.) With the advent of warmer weather the white butterfly has already made its appearance in gardens in the Carterton district. Christmas Parcels for Soldiers. Two hundred and ninety-three Christmas parcels, costing approximately 10s each, are urgently required from the Carterton district for soldiers overseas. Donations may be left at the offices of the Carterton borough or Wairarapa South County. Boy Scouts’ Card Tournament. The weekly card tournament held by the Boy Scout Committee last night was well attended. The prizes were won by Mesdames Page and C. Holland, Mr W. Morris and Miss V. Baillie. Personal. , , Miss Verna Sorensen has joined the clerical staff of the Air Department.
