PROPOSED BY CANADIAN LABOUR CONGRESS. GOVERNMENT CONTROL OF TRANSPORT & RADIO. , (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) OTTAWA, September 14. The Canadian Labour Congress passed a resolution calling on the Government to acquire the entire banking system and operate it in the people’s interest and added that the present banking system left the people’s economic social life largely at the mercy of a small clique of financial interests. The congress urged the formation of n transport commission to control all transport, also Government ownership and operation of all radio broadcasting, as a public utility.
