H.M.C.S. HURON

■» BRITISH-BUILT DESTROYER FOR CANADA. OTTAWA, August 20. The third of Canada’s four Britishbuilt tribal class destroyers has gone into service. The H.M.C.S. Huron carries even greater armament than the two previous tribals, Iroquois and Athabaskan which have been in commission for some time. Two further tribals are under construction in Canada. H.M.C.S. Huron adds another to Canada’s destroyer strength which, the Minister of National Defence for Naval Services, the Hon. A. L. Macdonald, recently informed the Canadian House of Commons, was “more than twelve but not quite twenty-four.” .
