SCOUTS AND CUBS

ACTIVITIES OF TROOP AND PACK. At last night's parade of the Mo Katoa Scout Troop there was a fair attendance. Two new games were played and the troop was instructed in square and diagonal lashing for second class pioneering tests. Scout Alec Levick passed the compass test for his second class badge. The inter-patrol competition marks for August were: —Kiwi Patrol, 225; Karoro, 222; Huia Patrol, 215 marks. At the Mo Katoa Cub parade this week the usual work was carried out. At the close of the meeting the following promotions took place: Sixer K. Camden received his senior sixers stripe; Second J. Turnbull received his sixers stripe; J. Fantham and L. Dwyei' received their seconder stripe.
