DESTROYER LOST
SURVIVORS SAVED BY SPANISH SHIP. RESCUED WHILE WARSHIP WAS IN FLAMES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright; (Received This Day, 11.40 a.m.) MADRID, September 6. The Spanish merchantman Antequera, picked up 125 survivors of a British destroyer which sank after an er plosion off Gibraltar. The British naval authorities thanked the captain and crew of the Antequera for ressuing the members of the crew while the destroyer was in flames.
