REGENT THEATRE
“SEVEN SWEETHEARTS” “Seven Sweethearts” will be finally shown tonight. DOUBLE PROGRAMME. There will be an excellent double feature programme presented tomorrow night, with offerings to suit all tastes. ‘‘Police Bullets” provides whirlwind action and thrilling romance as the dragnet falls on the nation’s newest wave of crime. The chief roles are taken by Joan Marsh and John Archer. The associate feature, “Never Been Kissed,” is of a different type, providing plenty of music and mirth. It is a Universal attraction up to the usual high standard, and patrons should not miss it. It is even a better picture than “When Johnny Comes Marching Home.” The leading characters are portrayed by Gloria Jean, Donald O'Connor and lan Hunter. The special’ week-end attraction will be the brilliant drama, “Dr. Gillespie’s New Assistant.’
