Kramer, who was ill for two days and unable to make a contest of the game after the rest period, scored only four points in the final set. Hunt was the dark horse of the tournament, being seeded seventh. He eliminated earlier two other favoured players,. rank Parker, seeded number one, and William Talbert, seeded fourth. Misses Louise Brough and Margaret Osborne retained the women’s doubles title, beating Miss Pauline Betz and Doris Hart, 6-4,-6-3. In the mixed doubles final, Miss Osborne and Talbert beat Miss Betz and Segura, 10-8, 6-4.
