Four American Flying Fortresses, which are believed to have participated in a raid against Germany, made forced landings in Switzerland yesterday, and their crews were interned, says the British United Press Berne correspondent. A fifth Flying Fortress fell into Lake Constance, after being hit by German anti-aircraft batteries. Nine members of its crew were rescued and interned. The tenth was killed. American parachutists who dropped on Swiss soil from another Flying Fortress, were also interned.
