♦ V PROVISION FOR INVALIDS AND OTHERS. EARLY APPLICATION ADVISED. Early application should be made by electors who will be unable to attend polling booths on polling day for absent voters’ permits. Electors who are invalids or on account of illness are unable to visit a polling booth and those who are likely to be more than two miles by any direct route from a polling booth-are entitled to apply for a postal voting certificate. Upon the application being approved by the registrar of the electorate concerned, a postal vote certificate will be forwarded by registered post.
