PIRINOA
DAIRY COMPANY ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of shareholders of the Lower Valley Co-operauve Dairy Co. was held recently at the factory. There was a fair attendance. The chairman, Mr Campbell Smith, referred to the damage done to the factory by the earthquake and floods in the previous year. The output for the season was down by 80 tons, due to suppliers having to revert to cream. Though the costs to f.o.b. had risen slightly, the balance sheet disclosed a very satisfactory payout. Messrs Weatherstone and Linton were re-elected directors. A vote of thanks was passed to the manager and staff. At a subsequent meeting of directors, Mr C. Smith was re-elected chairman.
